In addition, there are always doubters and people that are expecting you to fail. Entrepreneurship can be a very lonely journey and there are many days where a person may doubt their decision”. “This award was the recognition that despite the challenges, our strategy to become the partner of choice in the pharmaceutical sector was working well and we had established a strong reputation and brand recognition in the market. The combination of being committed to the Rare Disease community, by making medicine available for patients across the MENA region, and the community service through raising awareness with the general public, were the main reasons behind this award.” Setting itself apart from its competitors is something which helps Genpharm be the success it is today. Marking itself out as the best possible option for partners, Karim explains that the firm sticks to its values, always putting the patient first and looking to do the best for them. “Staff remain very close to our vision and to our organisational values.
